Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings with the fifth overall selection in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born the 2nd of March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Her brothers are Mario (26 year older) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). Being the youngest of her siblings she was the one who was most spoilt of her parents. Gregory's father was a member of the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale comes from an active lineage of family members. Her mother Yolanda played softball at DePaul as was her brother Dare used to be football player. She played for her aunt in volleyball at UAPB in the past, and Endia is a Volleyball player on the team at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was on the list of honors at her school for three years in a row. During her time in high school, Ogunbowale has been awarded numerous prizes and became famous. Arike did her graduation from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School located within her own hometown. Apart from studying Arike was a member of three varsity teams at Divine Holy Angels Savior High School. Ogunbowale's extraordinary abilities helped her school capturing stunning victories repeatedly. High schooler Ogunbowale has made 7 appearances in the league and had 1,477 rebounds as well as 1,477 points during her professional career. Ogunbowale was able to win gold in 2013 the FIBA Americas U16 Championships and the 2014 World Championships of FIBA U17. The USA Youth Olympic Team was announced as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team 7 July 2014. Ogunbowale was entering her first year of collegiate play, was named her ACC All-Freshman Team. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for a number of important shots at the NCCA Tournament. While still relatively new Ogunbowale has already earned herself the status of an outstanding basketball player, and she is bound to follow her dream. According to sources, Arike Ogunbowale's net worth is thought to be about $5 million. Ogunbowale is not only an excellent basketball player. She is also a pro at other sports as well. She's a professional soccer player, and has won three State Cup titles with Lake County United Soccer Club as well as a State Cup title at FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. She played piano as well for 7 years.
