Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams born on August 20, 1974 Aviano Italy American actor. Famous for her critically acclaimed performance of charming and naive people. Adams was born and lived in Castle Rock Colorado, as the youngest child of seven. Her father was serving in U.S. service in Italy. In the mid-1990s, she began professional dancing and performed at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. Then she moved to the regional theater in Minnesota in which she was featured in a mock documentary film on beauty contests called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). Following her debut on screen as a ditzy but good-natured contestant, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The decade following, she appeared in many famous films, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
